Lenore made it home, but not before unloading one last potholder on an unsuspecting Latvian. This is Aina in the garden of Lenore's mom's childhood home. As you can see, she's absolutely thrilled with her new karsts polsteris.
Thanks to Pat for researching a possible name for "potholder" in Latvian (literally "hot pad")! We also came up with katla tureetajs (katla=pot, tureetajs=a thing that holds something).
Please note that the shed is behind Aina and not Mom's former home.
