Forgot to post these last week: documentation of the first BLTs of the season and fresh sweet corn! Mmmm! We made these on Tom's homemade rolls, ever so slightly toasted. Hoops had to get in on the action too, but she was probably confused, because Lenore's BLT is actually just a B, with a side of T and seldom any L. She is reluctant to embrace the art of combining flavors unless it is coffee and cream.
This Lenore's handy dandy pineapple corer thingy. It works great -- so much so I got one for myself. I ordered it from Amazon, and it came with three different sizes; however, only one of the sizes seems useful. The other two are so small, who would ever buy a pineapple that size? Oh well...
