Behold my sweet new plate holders. I got them for Christmas from Odie and the parental units, but was waiting for a nice day to install them.
Aren't these bird houses cute?! Lenore's very quiet and reclusive neighbor made them and left them for her on her back porch with a sweet little note. She's only talked to him once, but he does wave to us. He works at a gun shop, so it's wise to stay on his good side. Sometimes we hear shots and suspect he's shooting the raccoons. (gulp!) He drives to work, but always rides his bike to the local bar (even in the winter), which seems responsible enough.
